Excerpt from Natural Resources Management Program: An Addendum to the Natural Resources Management Plan for Lassen Volcanic National Park, California

Fiscal Year 1984. Research and monitoring started in FY 1983 will be continued and the fire program will be modified where necessary and will be expanded by inventorying fuels in areas outside of initial natural fire units. New research will be introduced to document ecosystem history and determine ungulate-vegetation relationships.
